Like others, I’ve also bought the mesh feeders in the past for my first three kids. When we had our baby after a 7 year gap, I went looking for them again, expecting the mesh to be one time use, but I remembered they were a good way to help babies grip first foods like avocado and banana, especially if you’re going the Baby Led Weaning route. That’s when I saw the link to these. What a difference! So much easier to clean. It’s all very thoughtfully designed. Some great features:

1. Extremely easy to clean. I have not stuck them in the dishwasher bc I think silicone can retain certain scents and I don’t want the dishwasher detergent smell on the nipples, but it’s easy enough to wash by hand. I can see myself sticking the handles into the dishwasher though.
2. It comes with SIX nipples, 2 each of three different sizes.
3. Two handles, with secure clasp.
4. Each handle has a very secure cover, so you can stick it back in your diaper bag when you’re not home.
5. There is a little part that looks like a chapstick lid and fits inside the nipple. It slips over another piece which is threaded like a screw. The lid piece turns as the baby sucks, helping to push the food forward. You can see this labeled as “turning function” in their little diagram, which I didn’t bother looking at before I purchase. I noticed it when I was washing them and I was just like, “wow, that is fricking genius.” Such a small but thoughtful little detail.

My only “complaint” is that my teething baby seems to prefer the harder plastic of the handles! Actually, I also think it’s a little heavy. She can lift it fine but it’s a little hard for her to maneuver and maybe there is just a lot of handle to nipple ratio.

So far we’ve only tried avocado. I think she might be more inclined toward it once we try with something sweet like bananas. I’ll update.

In summary, these are well worth the price. Everything feels very sturdy and well made.

We stepped up to this feeder after starting our 5 month old on mesh fresh food feeders. When he loved the mesh ones, we knew we needed something of a better quality. The mesh feeders are very hard to clean mushy food out of and after a few weeks of use we’re discolored, stiff and just perpetually dirty.

These silicone feeders are EXCELLENT. They come with varying sizes, they are easy for the baby to use, they are well priced, they are durable, and the fact that they come apart makes them easy to clean. I LOVE that they twist to push the food further down into the feeder. This was a design issue with the mesh feeders.

I removed one star for two reasons.

First, the instructions that came with this item are literally some of the worst instructions I’ve ever seen! Because there are multiple pieces to this product, the construction is not intuitive. Therefore, far better instructions are a needed.

Second, the pieces don’t really “hold” together very well. It’s not a huge deal but it’s kind of annoying every time I open it to refill it that the center piece can just kind of fall off if it’s not twisted in the up position.

Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

My daughter recently started teething, and I wanted her to try new fruits. I had bought an alternative mesh feeder, but I realized that I couldn’t properly clean it! My daughter also didn’t enjoy it. So I went hunting for another option, and that’s when I came across this. And this is one of the best teethers/feeders I could find. I appreciate that it comes with different-sized holes so that I can gauge how much she should be eating. And it’s a lot less messy than a mesh feeder. Overall, it’s an excellent feeder, and I would repurchase it. If you’re looking for something your child will Be able to hold and two grow with them, you have found the right one for you.

Bought this for my baby when he started teething and was able to sit and gnaw on stuff. It comes with 2 teethers so that's great. I loved to put fruits in the teether and my son would just devour it, without you having to worry they will choke or something. If they are uncomfortable with their teething, you can put frozen fruits and it will soothe their gums. Very easy to clean and wash. Your little one will also appreciate the handle. Great product, must try!

My 6 month old loves this. I've been feeding him all kinds of fruits and vegetables through it and he enjoys chewing on it and sucking the juices off it.

L’ho preso per cominciare lo svezzamento della mia piccola di 6 mesi..gli omogenizzati non li mangia ancora volentieri, un po’ per la consistenza e un po’ per il gusto nuovo della frutta..e’ però molto curiosa e vuole assaggiare tutto..prima le davo un pezzetto di frutta da succhiare dalla mia mano però avevo sempre paura che se ne staccasse un po’ e le andasse di traverso..ho risolto con questo ciuccio..e’ davvero molto comodo..la scatola contiene due strutture porta ciuccio e 6 tettarelle adatte ad ogni esigenza..taglia s per i bimbi piccoli, taglia m per quelli dai 6 mesi che già inghiottono, e taglia L per i più grandi..in base alla misura scelta ci sta più o meno frutta..ha una comoda rotella alla base che stringendo o allargando aiuta a schiacciare la frutta all interno del ciuccio per non lasciare spazi vuoti..attraverso i buchi esce un po’ di polpa oltre al succo però e’ così morbida e ‘spremuta’ che la mia bimba la ingerisce facilmente come se fosse una purea..davvero un buon prodotto..ottimo anche il prezzo avendo comunque all’interno due ciucci..comodo per avere sempre il cambio o da portare in giro mentre l’altro rimane a casa..la maniglia del ciuccio e’ abbastanza grande da poter essere tenuto in autonomia dal bimbo..belli i colori..super consigliato..non so se ci sia differenza tra questo che ha la tettarella in silicone rispetto a quella in rete ma trovo che questo sia più comodo perché rimane rigido e morbido allo stesso tempo e se un bimbo e’ già abituato al ciuccio non ha problemi ad abituarsi a questo..io lo sterilizzo a freddo ma penso si possa fare anche a caldo o in microonde ..si lava anche molto facilmente sotto l’acqua..
